THE NETWORK BEFORE THE NET
The Internet, as you are aware, is a vast network of computers, wires, routers, and switches connecting all of us to each other. At RAS Communications, we have been networking long before the Internet became popular.

Back in 1990 when we first established our corporate identity and logo, we visually tried to capture our essence as a company. It was our goal to be the creative resource accountable to our clients' bottom line. We did this by developing a vast network of graphic arts professionals -- graphic designers, illustrators, printers, ad specialty manufacturers, etc. We became, and remain, a one-stop resource for all our clients visual communications needs.

When you looked at the original RAS logo, you saw a net-like grid within the outline of the RAS letters. The grid connected the large dots which represented the various graphic arts partners with whom we work.

Depending upon the task at hand, we search our network to find the graphic arts professionals most proficient in helping us deliver the services you need at a price which is always competitive, if not the best deal in town.

With the redesign of our website in 2005, we also updated our logo (shown near bottom of page). The large dots which represent our visual marketing partners are still present, but the rigid grid has disappeared -- replaced by a "grid-less", virtual connection. Of course, all services are still housed under the RAS framework.

Admittedly, that is probably more than you ever wanted to know about the RAS Communications logo, but we thought we'd share the method behind our madness. Afterall, someday you'll want to know how our minds operate when we are working with you on your special, visual communications project!
